Karen Celedonia is an award-winning photographer whose work has been featured in numerous exhibits at the Butler Art Center and Gallery in Butler, Pennsylvania, and North Hills Art Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She also had work accepted to the juried exhibition, Celebration of the Arts, at the Butler Art Center and Gallery. Her floral photograph, “The Kepler-1649c Royal Ball”, won First Place at the 2024 Spring & Floral exhibit; her nature photograph, “Elephant in the Woods”, won Second Place in the 2023 Nature & Wildlife exhibit; and her surreal photograph, “The Real Flickers”, won Third Place in the 2023 3D & Surreal Salon exhibit. Karen and her work have been featured in a newspaper article in the Butler Eagle, and a collection of her work was displayed in a solo exhibition at the Mohawk Coffee House in Bessemer, Pennsylvania. Karen is self-taught and began experimenting with photography on daily walks through country fields during the pandemic. When she is not taking pictures, Karen enjoys reading, writing, and frolicking in fields and forests.
